Clara Lagacé – Author

Meet the author Clara Lagacé, who has returned to settle in the Outaouais region after seven years of literary studies in Montreal. Clara has turned her return into a creative mission: to bring her region to life in Quebec literature. Although she takes a clear-eyed view of local cultural challenges, she draws inspiration for her stories from her neighbourhood of Deschênes and the urban landscape of Aylmer. For her, the Outaouais is a land of possibilities where one must “speak up” to build sustainable and inspiring projects.
